A Visit to Ollivanders
Even before Harry begins his first year at Hogwarts, he tries out various wands at Ollivanders. Only the combination of holly and phoenix feather suits him. It is one of those small moments when the wizarding world suddenly becomes tangible.
The replicas in the characteristic Ollivanders boxes capture this perfectly. Other editions come with nameplates, special stands, or even a glowing tip. Which version is right for you depends on whether you want to collect your favorite character, complement a cosplay, or surprise someone.
A small distinction beforehand: wood types and magical cores belong to the story. Depending on the model, the replicas are made of materials such as resin or plastic. You can find their actual dimensions and the contents of the package on the respective product pages.
Harry, Hermione, and Ron: The Trio's Wands
Harry Potter: The Chosen One's Wand
A handle like grown wood, a slender tip, and the memory of countless "Expelliarmus!" moments: Harry's later film design is one of the most famous wands of all. Particularly fascinating is its connection to Voldemort. The feathers in both their wands come from the same phoenix, Dumbledore's loyal Fawkes.
- 🌳 Wood in the story: Holly
- 🪶 Magical core: Fawkes' phoenix feather
- 📏 Book length: eleven inches
Which Harry should it be for your collection? The young wizarding student from the first two films carries a simpler model. From the third film onwards, the wand gets its familiar, bark-like handle. The story remains the same, but the film design changes.
- Harry Potter's famous wand design
- Harry's first film wand in an Ollivanders box
- Harry's wand with a light-up function for your own Lumos moment

Hermione Granger: Fine Vines for a Great Witch
Hardly anyone goes to class as prepared as Hermione. Her wand accompanies her from the first Levitation Charm to the most dangerous adventures with Harry and Ron. The later film design with its fine vines suits a character who combines knowledge, courage, and an astonishingly cool head perfectly.
In the story, Hermione owns a wand made of vine wood with a dragon heartstring core. For your display case, you can choose between two film designs:
- The early version is reminiscent of Hermione's first years at Hogwarts and the design of the first two films.
- The later model features the famous vine pattern seen from the third film onwards.
At Zauberkram, you'll find Hermione's famous wand design and Hermione's first film wand in an Ollivanders box.

Ron Weasley: From an Inherited Wand to His Own Wand
Ron's first wand has already been through a lot by the time he takes it over from his brother Charlie. After the encounter with the Whomping Willow, even magic tape can only do so much. His failed curse against Draco and the subsequent slugging plague will probably remain in every fan's memory.
Before his third school year, Ron finally gets his own wand made of willow with a unicorn hair core. If you have already made room for Harry and Hermione, Ron Weasley's wand completes the trio. 🧡

The Wands of the Great Hogwarts Teachers
A raised eyebrow from McGonagall, Snape's piercing gaze, or Dumbledore's calm voice: These characters don't need big entrances to stay in memory. Their wands have a completely unique character as well.
Albus Dumbledore's Elder Wand
Its knot-like bulges alone reveal which wand you have before you. The Elder wand is one of the three Deathly Hallows and has a long, dangerous history. Dumbledore wins it in a duel against Grindelwald, thus carrying a wand whose power many others long for.
- 🌿 Wood in the story: Elder
- 🦴 Magical core: Thestral tail hair
- ✨ Special feature: one of the three Deathly Hallows
However, its power follows its own rules. Whoever possesses the Elder wand is still far from being its true master. This exact question becomes crucial in the finale.
With the Elder wand replica in an Ollivanders box, you bring one of the most famous props from the film series into your collection.

Severus Snape's Black Wand
Dark, straight, and with a finely textured handle: Snape's wand looks as strict as its owner in class. Between Harry's bark-like handle and Hermione's vines, the clean shape stands out immediately. A perfect piece for anyone who wants to give the mysterious Potions Master a place of honor.

Minerva McGonagall's Wand
Strict in class, unwavering in the crucial moment: For many fans, McGonagall is at the heart of Hogwarts. Her wand complements a collection of the teaching staff and serves as a reminder of a witch who defends her school and her students with all her determination.

More Character Wands for Your Collection
Perhaps you collect the members of your favorite house. Maybe you want to bring the Marauders together or gather Dumbledore's Army in your display case. Aside from the trio, some particularly beautiful character pieces await you.
Draco Malfoy
Draco's straight wand looks significantly more understated than many other film designs. Nevertheless, it plays an important role in the story, especially in connection with Harry and the loyalty of wands. The replica of Draco Malfoy's wand is an obvious choice for Slytherin fans.
Sirius Black
Sirius Black's dark wand is recognizable by its engraved markings and angular design. As a memento of Harry's godfather, it fits just as well in a Marauders collection as it does next to Harry's own wand. Here you can find Sirius Black's wand.
Luna Lovegood and Ginny Weasley
Luna's unique view of the world and Ginny's courage make them both more than supporting characters in Harry's story. Their wands fit particularly well into a collection centered around Dumbledore's Army.
- Luna Lovegood's wand for fans of the eccentric Ravenclaw student.
- Ginny Weasley's wand as a reminder of a determined Gryffindor witch.
Fleur Delacour
With Fleur comes a representative from Beauxbatons. Her wand complements a collection for the Triwizard Tournament and adds a different accent compared to the well-known Hogwarts models. You can also find the wand replica of Fleur Delacour at Zauberkram.
Voldemort and Bellatrix: striking wands of the dark side
Lord Voldemort's wand
The light, bone-shaped handle makes Voldemort's wand instantly recognizable. In the story, it is made of yew and contains a phoenix feather from Fawkes. Harry and Voldemort thus possess different wands whose cores come from the same phoenix.
In a display case, the replica of Lord Voldemort's wand forms a striking contrast to the darker models. Alongside Harry's wand, their connection can also be captured as a small themed display.

Bellatrix Lestrange's curved wand
Bellatrix belongs in an overview of famous Harry Potter wands because of her unusually curved wand. Her original wand in the story is made of walnut and contains dragon heartstring. Unlike most straight models, its silhouette looks almost hook-shaped.

Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore and Grindelwald
Long before Harry's school days, Dumbledore and Grindelwald's paths cross. The films offer a different look at the wizarding world and bring their own props, which deserve their place alongside the Hogwarts classics.
Dumbledore's earlier wand
Before Dumbledore wins the Elder wand, he carries his own wand. The replica from Fantastic Beasts shows this earlier side of the later Hogwarts headmaster. Together with the Elder wand, it creates a small display of two very different chapters of his life.
Gellert Grindelwald's own wand
Grindelwald is closely connected to the history of the Elder wand. In addition, there is his own wand design from Fantastic Beasts, which you can find as a Grindelwald replica with us. If you collect both characters, you can display their different wands side by side.

Celebration wands and the 25-year set
A silver-blue stag, a golden key, or Harry's two film designs in an anniversary finish: These collector's items stand out at first glance. The Celebration series dedicates its own designs to famous spells, while the 25-year set takes us back to the beginning of the film story.
Celebration 2025: Patronus wand
"Expecto Patronum!" The Celebration wand 2025 captures the memory of Harry's glowing stag in its own design. Silver and blue run along the shaft, and a stag head sits on the handle. 🦌
- Unique design for the Patronus spell
- Includes a metal stand for display
- Enamel pin with the matching wand movement
Celebration 2026: Alohomora wand
A wand that itself looks like the key to a hidden room: The Alohomora Celebration Edition 2026 plays with the opening spell that Hermione uses in the first adventure. The gold-colored handle is reminiscent of an old key, while the shaft has a wood-look finish. A matching display stand and an enamel pin complete the set. 🗝️
The Celebration series is released with annually changing, limited-time designs. You can see which editions are still available at Zauberkram on the respective product pages.
25 Years of Harry Potter: Two Wands and the Philosopher's Stone
For everyone who still remembers their first visit to Hogwarts: The 25-year wand set celebrates the first Harry Potter film with a special selection.
- Harry's first film wand and his later design
- Both replicas with an antique silver finish
- A replica of the Philosopher's Stone
- Blue collector's box with anniversary decorations
The two wands side by side show particularly well how Harry's most famous prop has changed over the course of the film series.
Lucius Malfoys Gehstock und Hagrids Regenschirm
A silver snake head, a commanding presence, and a hidden secret: Lucius Malfoy's cane with a hidden wand is one of the Malfoys' most striking props. It makes a special eye-catcher for a Lucius cosplay or a larger collector's display.
Hagrid is quite different: His pink umbrella seems harmless at first, but it conceals the remains of his broken wand. The umbrella in the style of Hagrid's wand captures this unmistakable detail. A beautiful piece for everyone whose heart belongs to the lovable gamekeeper. ☂️
Which Harry Potter wand is right for you?
You don't have to pass a test at Ollivander's to find your favorite. Often, it's enough to ask which character or movie moment you particularly enjoy remembering. A few simple pointers can help you choose:
- 🎁 As a gift: The favorite character is a good start. A matching collector's box makes unwrapping it especially special.
- 🏰 For the display cabinet: Arrange your Hogwarts house, the trio, or the teachers together. Celebration editions add a special accent among them.
- 📸 For your cosplay: Choose the movie design that matches the character and plan protected transport for delicate replicas.
- 💡 For a Lumos moment: Be sure to choose a model with a light-up function.
If you're unsure about an edition, we're happy to help. Especially with a gift, it's worth checking the package contents: the box, stand, and nameplate vary depending on the model.

Frequently asked questions about Harry Potter wands
Are the wands made of real wood?
The types of wood in the story are not material specifications for the replicas. A wand made of "holly" may, for example, be crafted from painted resin as a collectible. The material specification of the specific product is what matters.
What does "first wand" mean for Harry and Hermione?
For the First Wand replicas, this refers to the design from the first two films. From the third film onwards, the designs were changed. This is a distinction between movie props, not automatically a new wand within the story.
Is every Dumbledore wand an Elder wand?
No. Dumbledore's earlier wand from Fantastic Beasts is a different model. The Elder wand is the well-known, knot-shaped Deathly Hallows that later comes into his possession.
Do all wands light up?
No. For that, you need a model explicitly designated as a light-up wand. In our selection, you'll find Harry's wand with a light-up function. Please check the information about operation and batteries on the product page.
Does an Ollivander's box always come with it?
No. The Noble Collection uses different packaging depending on the series. Stands and nameplates also vary by edition. Therefore, read the package contents of the selected model before ordering.
Can I use the replicas for play and dueling?
Many models are delicate collectibles. Resin replicas in particular should not be struck against each other or dropped. Please follow the age and usage instructions of the respective manufacturer, especially with a gift for children.
Which wand may move in with you?
Perhaps your collection starts with Harry. Perhaps a place for Snape, Luna, or the Elder wand is already waiting for you. Between familiar movie replicas and special editions, you'll find a piece of the wizarding world that fits your own story as a fan.
